Testimonials

“My son Jack is 2 years and 9 months and has just finished a course short of weekly speech therapy with Caroline.
The results are really impressive and Jack has made amazing progress and has gone from having very few recognisable words (and being very frustrated because we could not understand him) to being able to communicate really well. His vocabulary has massively increased, and he can now construct meaningful sentences and chats constantly..
Caroline conducted a comprehensive assessment and developed an action plan which enabled us to encourage his speech development through play and social interaction. Caroline has shown patience and her support for both us and Jack both in person and virtually has been really helpful.”

My son Danny is 3 years old and was diagnosed with autism 6 months ago. We have just completed a 12 week course of speech therapy with Caroline. During this time, Danny has gone from having little interest in anything other than jumping on the couch and screaming to fully engaging with Caroline for an entire session, calmly participating in an activity for an extended period, maintaining good eye contact, vocalising and making requests clearly. He is now consistently using visuals at home to communicate, can understand and carry-out two-part instructions and has just begun to say his first few words.

Caroline is thoughtful, professional, patient and hugely knowledgeable. She builds sessions around the interests of the child and makes it fun for them. She provided me with a wealth of tools and resources to replicate sessions with Danny at home and gave me lots of ideas for activities and toys to play with Danny to further develop his speech and language skills.

This is hopefully not the end of our SLT journey with Caroline. She has made a huge difference to Danny's life so far and I know he will continue to progress using her methods. We are delighted to have found her.

We were extremely lucky to find Caroline to help with our son's (age 4) speech. From the moment she walked in she made us feel at ease, and our son took to her so well - he would happily sit on her knee while doing the exercises and games. Her playful approach to learning was fabulous and I wouldn't hesitate in recommending her to anyone needing SLT help.

“Caroline worked with my son to overcome areas of opportunity in his pronunciation of the letters t and d, but I was so impressed with Caroline’s approach that I continued the sessions to encompass other letters and sounds over the course of seven months each week. Caroline made every 45 minute session fun and productive, no mean feat with a 3 year old who has a very short attention span. I would recommend Caroline to anyone whose child could benefit from speech and language therapy, she is amazing and we have continued to play the games she came armed with, some of which were board games from my childhood that I had forgotten about! Caroline is a wonderful teacher and therapist and became an integral part of my son’s education while she was working with us. I would highly recommend her to anyone!!.”
